Wordless Wednesday

Let the Season Begin!

Connor kicked off his first season of Little League a few weeks ago. The opening day ceremony entailed an introduction of each team and player as they ran the bases. There were even USF baseball players and a few Bucs cheerleaders there!

Connor is on the Tampa Bay Marlins and is the youngest one on the team. He's holding his own so far and just gets better and better each week. This past weekend he even got the game ball for most improved player :)

We have a 6 year old!

I can't believe my baby turned 6 this week. Where has the time gone?!?!

We celebrated with family this past weekend and will party again with his friends on the 21st. Saturday wasn't a very pretty day and his baseball game was even rained out that morning. We endured the rain though and still went out for lunch. We ate at Your Pie, a nearby pizza place that we really like. After lunch we opened gifts and then had some yummy birthday brownie.

Trick candles!!!

We wrapped his door on Sunday after he went to bed as Monday was his actual birthday. I was up before he was so I captured him coming out when he woke up. He got a kick out of that :) 

For breakfast he wanted waffles with chocolate (Nutella). What the birthday boy wants, the birthday boy gets!

Ready for school and ready for a better run through the door :)

For dinner Connor requested steak - a boy after my own heart.
