We spent the 4th of July holiday weekend in Lido Key with my friend Jessica and her girls, Taylor and Kayleigh. The Flukers were also there that weekend at Raif's parents who live on the key.
Addison LOVED spending time with Taylor and Kaleigh :) Taylor, who is 9, was so good with her!
We went to the sailing squadron to watch the fireworks being set off across the bay in Sarasota.
Sunday was the boat races though this year didn't draw anywhere near the crowd as previous years. Apparently there was some sort of dispute and none of the big dogs were in attendance (like Geico for example). It was still a super fun day watching the races and hanging at the beach with friends!
We grilled beach side that evening just before a monsoon rolled through. We then spent the rest of the evening crammed into our hotel room watching the USA girls soccer team win the World Cup!

The kids had a blast together! This was a super fun weekend that looks to have turned into an annual event. We hope everyone had a fun, safe and Happy 4th! Till next year...
